Department of Agadtantra
Overview:
Department of Agadtantra provides educational inputs to the third year student in the subject of Agadtantra, vyavhar Ayurveda evum Vidhi Vaidya. This department deals with medical ethics and law, Toxicology, Forensic medicine and Medical jurisprudence.
The department is equipped with Models, charts, specimen etc . Department is having it's own museum and library.
MAIN OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of this department is to produce and contribution in producing skilled legal medical practitioner and to bring law and medicine together for preparing medical student for their medical legal and social duties in medical profession.
AREA OF STUDY:
The study of characters and treatment of toxic substances of diffrent sources. Study of accidental death, suicide, poisoning etc. In conn with forensic medicine. Deals with various natural and artificial toxic substances and poison in details along with antidote, sign and symptoms and legal aspects of medical ethics and standards.
